Curriculum
Sanskrit — Samskritam, meaning 'refined' or 'sculpted to perfection' — is a cultured language. Every syllable carries a distinct vibration, harmonising speech, thought and the deeper energies of the universe.
The Pioneer
Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow began teaching Sanskrit in 2003. The Devabhasha curriculum was developed between 2006 and 2012, and formally launched in 2012.

Anjali Jaipuria's passion for Sanskrit and her love for rebuilding India led her to a dream — that one day the Sanskrit language must go through a period of renaissance in India. That renaissance began with Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow in April 2003.
Through Devabhasha, the dream is to empower every child with the ability to understand and converse in Sanskrit, and fall in love with the language of their forefathers.
